the bsb blog
Our journal (aka blog) is the living and breathing result of our passionate community of local explorers and residents that live in the Big Sky Bozeman region of southwest Montana. Expect to find tips, stories, myths, and more. Ranging from our public lands, wildlife, the fishing, hiking, biking, the sunshine, and the snow.
You will find out:
everyone here has a dog they love
or they know a dog they love
biking is big and so is walking (concrete or a trail)
two great downtowns
get the inside tips to survive the outdoors
feel free to keep it like it is
it’s called the last best place; let’s keep it that way
Our journal entry rules are simple. Each author must complete the journal entry in the time it takes to finish a cup of coffee.. Why? Passion comes from the heart; it should be easy to access and passion is so fun to read. Additionally, the journal entry must have a least relevant photo to accompany and bring life to those passionate paragraphs. Our slow writers admit to ordering large coffees (extra hot) and we’re okay with that strategy. :)
With that said, not included in the 1 coffee time frame is the time required to explore and/or photo the topic of the journal. Why? Expect to find journal entries that share experiences that were on trail, off trail, backcountry, lower Yellowstone, upper Madison, and the list goes on. That’s the fun stuff and we believe that should never be constrained by time.
We hope you find our journal interesting, inspirational, and informative. Get outdoors and thank you for helping us protect our public lands and support our local business owners.
Enjoy,
Steve and the Big Sky Bozeman Team
